I approached Julian Cope in 1996 when he was touring HMV stores to promote his new EP and single release. I filmed on 2 x SVHS Cameras accompanied by Phil Gurney who is now an established TV Cameraman in Scotland.  The idea was to get as much experience as possible filming live as I had been out of Art College for a year and was interested in the images that accompany music, and this was a great vehicle to learn and develop.  The sound is raw slightly distorted but the sound engineer bumped up the levels once Julian Cope and Thighpaul Sandra were on stage.

The tracks played live in the Glasgow and Edinburgh HMV tour are; 'I Come From Another Planet, Baby,  Try Try Try, Planetary Sit In, Pristeen, and Jelly Pop Perky Jean.'   The blue images take you directly to the tracks on youtube if you want to view them, this lead to a job filming The Silencers LIVE on their tour later in the year.  This is also listed on my Creative Research Outputs.  I do love archive material.
